Not for peace, but on the other side

Seattle's "anti-war" protestors are not for peace. They are on the other side.

Notice the sign in the upper left that says "Hands Off Fallujah". That is exactly what the terrorism-encouraging Saudi "religious scholars" have been saying.

And these dopes hate everything that America has ever done in the world. They even hate the Peace Corps :

The "Raging Grannies" of Seattle, part of a national peace organization, also joined the protest. Carol McRoberts, 61, a state employee, worked as a Peace Corps volunteer in Kenya.

"I've seen what our policies do in Third World countries," she said. "They create great, great poverty."

You really do have to hate America to believe that the Peace Corps only creates more poverty.

Important tidbit: The EFF's ExDir has a son serving in Iraq as a Marine. For obvious reasons, I'm leaving it at that. But my thoughts & prayers are with that boy.

Moreover, I hope these yassholes on the far left realize that they're killing Americans with their b.s. And if the military would take me, I'd be over there chomping at the bit to make sure Fallujah could participate in the January elections...

Woops, I also forgot to note: It was JFK who created the Peace Corps...

I was downtown as their demonstration march down 4th avenue -- the "protestors" would turn to their right and shout in unison: "F**k you...." then to their left and again shout "F......."-- that's the sum total of their opinions -- (which were taken seriously by our main media --

YEAH, WELL... WHO TEACHES 'EM THAT FECES?

I sure didn't learn that in MY house, reading Jean Fritz.

I sure didn't learn that in school...

I sure didn't learn that at Skagit Valley College, where that great patriot Dr. Anne Will reveled in fueling my patriotism even more...

Was this a meeting of the morons in Washington?

Things, such as this, would not happen in Texas where I live....

Good god, man. Get a grip.

Just because the article said that the woman *worked* as a Peace Corps volunteer does not mean that her commentary was *directed* at the peace corps. Perhaps, as a peace corps volunteer, she saw things that disgusted her about US international policy.

Tell me, is this what passes for critical thinking in the red states?

"A Moderate" well... well... it isn't that far of a leap, you know?

They even hate the Peace Corps

I'm not a big fan of the Peace Corps, either. The idea that a bunch of liberal arts majors from the suburbs should go and teach agriculture to cultures that have been farming for thousands of years seems like elitist condescension to me.
