Oops.
Sen. Edward Kennedy said yesterday he was stopped and questioned at airports on the East Coast five times in March because his name appeared on the government's secret "no-fly" list. This was obviously a clerical error. Sen. Kennedy should have been on the "no-drive" list. Posted by Stefan Sharkansky at August 20, 2004 10:06 AM
Ouch!

Posted by: Simon on August 20, 2004 10:44 AMAt least some of the elite, who are usually insulated from the consequences of their votes, are feeling the pain.
Since 9/11, I have been singled out for special screening every time I have flown. On US Navy travel orders, on a ticket obtained from a base ticket office.
So my vote is for Sen. Kennedy to be smacked upside the head with a sock full of wet sand every time he flies.
