The Associated Press is wildly distorting the conclusions of the newly released Butler Report on British pre-war intelligence.
Not that this should be a surprise.

This is not to be confused with the tasteless spoof website at www.butlerreview.org.uk
Legal action is currently being taken against the unscrupulous individuals who are illegally cybersquatting the latter domain name.

You are the one distorting things. What the AP said is supported by the excerpt of the report you posted. Your objection is that AP selectively reported only some of the reports conclusions. Sorry, but that's what news is all about, distilling down more information than you could process in a day into something you can read over breakfast. Stuff gets left out.
The Bush and Blair administrations before the war asserted there was "no doubt" that Iraq had stockpiles of WMDs. Rumsfeld said "we" know where they are. So the conclusion that they were wrong is of grave consequence in assessing how we go about justifying a preemptive invasion of a country.
Maybe you would have authorized the war even absent the stockpiles. But doesn't it bother you that something cited that frequently and with such supposed certainty as a causus belli turned out to be wrong?
