What Liberal Media?

Today on Oh, That Liberal Media --

The Seattle Times is biased in favor of liberal journalism professors who are biased against accountability in academia

The Seattle Times hires economically ignorant liberal columnists to write about economics.

The major media discovers that the liberation of Iraq wasn't unilateral only after the coalition loses a member.

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer is biased against Republicans.

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer celebrates Rachel Corrie on the news page.

The Chicago Tribune is prejudiced against Republicans.

and more good stuff. Just visit the home page and keep reading.

Seattle Times prints another lob-sided story from the same classy journalist, Florangela Davila who wrote the sob story about terrorist lover Rachel Corrie. This time, about...a Hate Studies conference held at Gonzaga….but SURPRISE, Muslim hate studies is not specifically mentioned by Davila. There is a smidgeon of Sudan mentioned, but that could be just for “diversity” purposes. She blathers "More than 40 percent of the crimes in both years, according to the FBI, were motivated by racial bias." Of course, this non-biased journalist, Davila, does not mention that most of the racial bias is minority on minority crime. It still baffles me that the average person read this and either does not know and/or care that their local newspaper and their leftist journalist not simply trying to give their readers “news,” rather they are trying to brainwash them by shoving this leftist crap down their throats on a daily basis. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2001880860_hatestudies17m0.html Sorry, I’m a titch angry, maybe too much coffee?

Hello, Mr. Sharkansky.

I just followed a Google search result on Spoons to a past entry of yours. This may be the first time that I've been to your blog, though I may have seen it's title before in the Blogosphere. It's hard to say for sure; I've been to, and commented at, so many weblogs...

I recently discovered the "That Liberal Media" weblog... I know that it was also just recently begun. That blog is a good idea; I see that you are a contributor to it - To you and the others, keep up the good work there.

Regarding the Chicago Tribune... I saw that entry at Spoons' blog, which I see that he also blogged at 'That Liberal Media', which you link to above. As I pointed out in a blog entry shortly before the 2002 general elections, some people say that that the Tribune is a conservative, pro-Republican newspaper. I mentioned that to a College Republican around that time, and he responded that, for the city of Chicago, it would be considered conservative. I guess that may be true...
