Desperate in Richmond Park

British MP Jenny Tonge (LibDem-Richmond Park) was fired from a party post for expressing sympathy with suicide bombers:

Speaking late on Thursday, eight days after a Palestinian woman suicide bomber killed four Israelis at a Gaza Strip border crossing, Jenny Tonge of the opposition Liberal Democrats said she understood the attackers' "desperation."

"I do not condone suicide bombers," she told Sky Television. "But I do understand why people out there become suicide bombers -- it is out of desperation.

"If I was in their situation...I might just think about it myself."

The only thing the suicide bombers are desperate about is to ethnically cleanse the Jewish minority out of the Middle East. If Jenny Tonge understands this desperation, I can only wonder which of Britain's ethnic minorities she is desperate to exterminate.

Did you read all the details of the SB's "desperation"?
" Israeli intelligence officials said that the 21-year-old woman, a member of a wealthy Palestinian family that ran a battery factory and had business interests in Israel, had been caught in an extramarital affair. The reports said that her husband, a Hamas activist, forced her to carry out the attack as a form of honor killing."

From reports here her father in law had her kicked out of the house some six months ago because she did not get along with the other women.

"Unlike the case of male bombers, most of the women have personal reasons to do what they do," said Boaz Ganor, the director of the International Policy Institute for Counter-Terrorism based in Herzliya, north of Tel Aviv. "

On TV's channel 10 here the husband was interviewed in Arabic and their was no idealism on the part of the woman except for the video that Hamas made of her.
There are lots of reasons for this sort of behaviour not the least being "not liked in the community" for various reasons.
But then again politicians seem to be the only people on earth capable of nothing more than the most simplistic thoughts.

I don't support the suicide bombers.

But, I can see where this woman's remark does not necessarily support murder.

Didn't Ehud Barak tell Gideon Levy that if he were a Palestinian "I would have joined a terrorist organization."

That didn't mean that Barak was anti-Israeli or anti-Jewish.
