More indications that European Union funds may have been channelled to Palestinian militant groups responsible for the deaths of scores of people in suicide bombings:
The EU's anti-fraud unit and Belgian police are investigating claims that money earmarked for aid was paid to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades through Belgian and German affiliate organisations.Meanwhile,The allegation is that groups "have asked for European subsidies for some kind of immigrant project and that this was then transferred towards Al-Aqsa", the source said. Al-Aqsa is on the EU's list of banned terrorist organisations.
[EU commissioner for external relations Chris] Patten, who sees the Palestinian Authority as a key interlocutor, believes it is crucial to continue backing it.Which is an easy thing to believe if you don't have to ride an Israeli bus to work.

In Geneva next week, rejected politicians representing not even a minority of the parties in the dispute will pose for cameras while signing an agreement in the benevolent presence of Jimmy Carter.
By the way I dont want to blaspheme but has Jimmy Carter's initials inflated his ego?
(The former president says "Yasser Arafat could not have survived politically if he had accepted" President Bill Clinton's generous proposals.)
This quote seems to expose the Peace fraud. If the Admin at the time had really been intent on peace would they have allowed Arafat to maintain his political life?
