Here and There, Oct. 7

Defense attorney Alan Dershowitz goes on the offensive: The case against Jordan.

While the New York Times is careful to describe the Syrian terrorist training camp that Israel bombed on Sunday as "what [Israel] says was a Palestinian terrorist training camp" (giving the Syrians the benefit of the doubt, no doubt), Ha'aretz fills in a few more of the details on the role of the camp and Syria's role in sponsoring terrorism.

Meanwhile, Palestinian "Prime Minister" Ahmed Qureia has unilaterally withdrawn from the "road map", which states:

A two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will only be achieved through an end to violence and terrorism, when the Palestinian people have a leadership acting decisively against terror
Qureia offers his agenda:
A quick push to reach a truce with Israel, but no crackdown on militants despite U.S. pressure - that's how Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia summed up his agenda in an interview with The Associated Press on Monday, a day after taking office.

Shark does anyone remember that Hezbullah and Syria have tried for 2 years especially last year to escalate the northern boarder and open a 2nd front in the war? There were NO UN Security Council meetings then only a weak statement by the feckless COFFEE Annan that sides should seek to lower the tensions!! As if Israel was somehow responsible. And what about the continious attacks each week of Artillery Shells redesigned to explode not in the air but on the ground, being shot into Northern Israel by Hezbulla and Syria. A few weeks ago one hit a house and blew apart the living room, but thankfully noone was killed, they had just went to the bedroom!!

THERE WAS NO CONDEMNATION OR SECURITY COUNCIL MEETINGS? But Israel's symbolic gesture of bombing an abandoned Camp with noone killed or injured is cause for INTERNATIONAL CONDEMNATION!!

And I will email you how the AP/Reuters/AFP/Yahoo reported the murder across the boarder of a 21 yr old IDF soldier and the death of a 6yr old Lebanese boy blamed or implied to be blamed and a "cycle of violence" while he was killed by 1 OF THOSE LEBANESE SHELLS being fired into Israel that noone reports or gives a shit about!!
