Federal interference in private family matters

This is an unconscionable example of the federal government undermining a parent's authority in his own home.

"President Bush hasn't been able to talk state Sen. Dino Rossi into running for governor. But he has persuaded Rossi to get a dog.

For the past six months, Rossi's children have been pestering him to get them a dog."

So who's going to take care of the dog when the kids shirk their duty, as they always do? Rossi, or will the President have the decency to face his personal responsibility?

Who's going to take care of the pooch? I guess this is just another unfunded federal mandate, eh?

It takes a village to raise the dog.

If it's a bitch, name it 'Hillary.'

I'd be glad to drive up to Sammamish every day and walk the dog if Dino would agree to run for governor.

Hah. I noticed from my traffic log that somebody from the White House visited this entry while doing a google search for "Dino Rossi".

If anybody else from the White House happens to see this--
a) stay the course on Iraq.
b) Let the Israelis dispose of Arafat, he's just as bad as Saddam and Osama.
c) Keep up the effort to recruit a viable Republican to run for governor of Washington

Shark,
Are you sure that was from whitehouse.gov and not from whitehouse.com? :-)
