Israel did not respect our initiative," he said. "So now we are returning to square one. Israel will really pay the price for this crime (killing of Abu Shanab)," Rantissi said.

Several of the items have been known here for some time as the local press does not bow to F(r)oggy Bottom , but I bet that a lot of Americans are completely unaware of the shennanigans.
When so many ask why Israel does not do this or that I suppose it is from frustration, but please bear in mind that there is a lot more at play.
And what is worse is that those against the US in Iraq know this and are bouyed in their hopes that the US does not have a coherent policy in line with its talk.
I hope and pray that Israel:
1. stays alert
2. stands strong against Bush/Powell appeasement advice
3. pursues these murderers and kills then all.
It is about time Israel took off the gloves, after Abbas had no spine to "dismantle" the terrorist orgs.
