It's in the P-I

Yesterday's unsigned editorial in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer (I paraphrase): "We enjoy sympathizing with Jews when they're being slaughtered, but we don't like it when they do anything to defend themselves."

Sounds a bit like Western Europe's attitude toward the U.S.

Which is worse the Seattle Times or the Seattle P-I? They both seem to suck to me.

Joel,
Reading the Times is like oral surgery. Reading the P-I is oral surgery without anaesthesia. With the Times you get one conservative op-ed for every 3 liberal ones. The P-I is more like 6 to 1.

It's incomprehensible to me how someone can enjoy sympathizing with a slaughtered people.
