Here and There, July 19

Roadmap Update: It's all but impossible to negotiate, let alone enforce, a peace deal with someone when there is nobody in charge.

Mollie Ingebrand, a 34-year-old puppeteer from Minneapolis, is moving to Vancouver because of her long-standing affinity for Canada, "fueled partly by respect for its health care system"

For me, it's a no-brainer
Well, yes, you would have to be a no-brainer to go to Canada for the healthcare system, without having done enough research to learn that it's not all that it's cracked up to be. Good luck, Mollie.

My Molly would have known better than to do such a silly thing.

How can we streamline the process of emigrating liberals to Canada? The article points out these folks are looking for a "more relaxed," "less competitive lifestyle" and government "healthcare", which I translate as wanting to become dead weight on the economy.

Baldwin, calling Mr. Baldwin...

Will the French, er Canadian government filter out our 'courriel' to her Mollyness when we send cards of consolation upon her 6 month wait for treatment when next she falls ill?

And yes... billboards on I-5 north that say 'just keep going lefties' would be so helpful.
