Where is Janeanne's Iraqi fan club?

We've all seen the pictures of liberated Iraqis kissing Marines and shouting "Bush! Bush! Bush!". But where are the Iraqis who are demonstrating to say thank you to Chirac and Schroeder and Putin (not to mention Bashar Assad and Janeanne Garofalo and Martin Sheen) for working to avoid the war? I mean there's got to be somebody in Iraq who's grateful to Michael Moore for trying to keep Bush from toppling Saddam. Where is this person and why hasn't the BBC found him yet?

Do you realize that chances are few people even knows who Chirac is or that he was so involved, let alone Michael Moore, Sheen or the Garafalo woman? Do you believe that everyone in the world lives a life as you do?

The Iraqis are rid of Saddam Hussein and are happy. Whether it was America or anyone else is immaterial to them.

If this war was fought for Iraqi freedom, it has been an immoral war. For Bush has declared that American Marine lives are less important than those of Iraqi civilians. It is the standard self-sacrificial ethic shared by those who attacked New York City. The evil nonsense of the non-existent "greater good".

"If this war was fought for Iraqi freedom, it has been an immoral war."

Do you realize what you just said?

Dude, there have been huge pro-Chirac and Garafolo rallies at all the WMD facilities. You just have to know where to look.

Why do I get the impression that Klotz spits and drools while he types?

Yes. I said that the life of a father of a little boy in Kansas is more important than him sacrificing it, not for America's self-defense, but for Iraqi freedom. To hell with Iraqi freedom. I care for Americans.

I must say that some of these comments are, to say the least, irrational. It is extremes of opinion like the ones displayed here that CAUSE war, much misery and man's inhumanity to man. I also must say that initially I was in favor of the war but it was in the context the administration outlined, specifically that there is an "imminent threat" to the world if we do not act. Clearly, this was at least somewhat trumped up. I do not think there was malicious intent nor do I think the president did't belive what he was saying. But it is troublesome to me that the administration was so wrong about the situation, and is now attempting to change the entire context for war. Now it is terrorism? Liberation? Please give me a break. We should not tuck our tails and run, but let's at least be honest about this.
