Nancy Pelosi was on the Tavis Smiley Show this morning talking about "the war in Iraq, America's future and the role of the Democratic Party". (Be careful: A single sentence containing all of the phrases "Nancy Pelosi" "Democratic Party" and "America's future" may cause vomiting, coughing fits and/or sleep disorders). Pelosi was still portraying the liberation of Iraq as an unnecessary pre-emptive war that was a distraction from the war on terrorism. Pre-emptive wars are wrong, she explained, because it's un-American to attack someone who hasn't attacked you first. Please help me launch a pre-emptive attack on Nancy Pelosi in order to prevent her from permitting unpre-empted attacks on the United States. Vote Republican to pre-empt Nancy from becoming Speaker of the House, or worse.

In areas of Afghanistan joining with Pakistan and the first regions actually taken by the US during the first weeks of the war, Mullah Omar has set up Taliban government again. He has over the past few weeks been calling for total Jihad against the United States and its allies. There has been factional fighting outside of Kabul and Kharzai has no power outside of the capital.
The Taliban is once again spreading and training camps have been set up again by Al Quaida.
All this while Bush liberates Iraqis with American blood.
Just read news coming out of places such as Tashkent and Islamabad.
And what do Americans see as the greatest danger? Not Iran, the center of Islamic fudamentalist attacks, but North Korea.
The war against Islamism has being neglected to a very large degree by the Bush Administration.
And it is also affecting Iraq. The assinaton last week of an Iraqi mullah friendly to the US and with Tony Blair who was living in the UK, and cited to be a prime candidate for high office in a future Iraqi govt, was carried out by the Islamists on order from Omar.
